We are thrilled to be hosting a special Halloween edition of our TechFest on Thursday, October 31st at our District Office! This is going to be a fun and engaging day of learning as we explore ways we can use technology to expand the boundaries of learning.

Our theme is “education de-zombified”. Don’t panic, we are not suggesting there are any zombies among us but we do want to examine our practices. Are we doing our best to keep education fresh and up-to-date? Are we walking around demonstrating higher order thinking skills, collaboration and creativity? How might we design a culture of learning based on the common core, empowered by trust, and deployed with state of the art technology to infuse new life into our schools?

We are expecting approximately 80 educators and students to participate in Techoween and hope you will join us in our efforts to bring new life into education. A full schedule will be available soon… but we don’t want to keep you in the dark so check out this sneak peek.
